Why do we love Mayor Dave Bing?

After a successful NBA career (NBA Hall of Fame)and a successful business career, Mayor Bing couldn’t just stand by when a city he loved needed honest help. He got involved with his whole heart and mind to uncover the dynamic pockets of our great city. He provided the impetus needed to unite the passion of so many Detroiters who have dedicated their lives to rebuilding our communities.

As we launch the official Detroit Pockets of Cool website today we pay tribute to the man who is guiding our transition with such cool. Our hats off to you Mayor Bing for your leadership and your love.
