Vince Paul is a Detroit native, transplanted from the New York cultural scene to be the artistic director of Music Hall. He has rejuvenated the famed theatre with all of the glory and diversity the artistic world has to offer. Vince’s passion is to have the Music Hall represent all of the various cultures in our city so that we all learn and grow from a multitude of creative points of view. Matilda Dodge Wilson who built the famed hall has a history as fascinating as the talent who performs on its stages.
The Jazz Café in the lower level of the Theatre is one of the prime spots downtown to meet and have a drink and listen to the great jazz our city serves up. From the atmosphere to the featured talent, Music Hall is one of Detroit’s unique entertainment stages featuring talent from around the world, and from our own backyard.
